A cool Project and nice to know how mo-cap data is..... well capture and then the role of the animator afterwards. Some drawbacks of having no control over the curve editor on the 2 legged alien character was perhaps the only negative while working in the new software but all went well in the end!:)
So a quick breakdown of the project is as follows:
Blend 3 small mo-cap data sequences (these can been seen as jolts of animation at the very beginning of the animation) and then to end the sequence with my own animation but in 3 different emotional states. As a result I have a casual landing, a celebratory landing and a negative landing....
The 2nd part of the project was also pritty cool despit the awful rig! Starting from scratch was to animate 3 different emotional walk cycles, come to a stop then proceed to do some sort of cycle again.
